Welcome to Manor House![]() ![]() ![]() This is Norfolk at its very best. Our family has farmed here for three centuries, and now we take pride in welcoming guests to a private wing of our home where a peaceful stay is assured. Start each day with a hearty breakfast cooked in our farmhouse kitchen and served in our elegant dining room. Then an abundant variety of possibilities awaits you, because all that Norfolk has to offer is within easy reach. You may choose simply to linger in our garden, strolling in the orchard or watching the ducks on the pond. If you enjoy walking, discover the Weaver's Way footpath which links Cromer on the North Norfolk coast and Great Yarmouth on the East coast - and runs through our farm. This gentle trail takes you to the heart of the unique Broads landscape, dotted with numerous windmills and windpumps and some of the finest flint churches in Britain. If you love gardens, take a short drive to two of the jewels in Norfolk's horticultural crown - the exotic and coastal Old Vicarage Garden at East Ruston, acclaimed as a gem in a recent television programme, and the 130-acre Fairhaven Water Gardens, winner of the best Norfolk attraction award in 2005. Or you may prefer to explore the local RSPB bird reserves, hire a dayboat on the Broads, or discover country lanes, pretty villages, historic churches, and miles of unspoiled beaches. Fishing and stabling are also available, and the fine city of Norwich is just 25 minutes' drive from our farm. Our guest accommodation is designed and planned to meet the needs of the most discerning visitor. The private guest wing at Manor House has one double bedroom and one twin-bedded room, both elegantly furnished and exceptionally comfortable, and equipped with televisions, hairdryers and tea and coffee facilities. The wing has a cosy sitting area and a spacious bathroom. For the comfort of all our guests, the entire house is non-smoking. Trained dogs are welcome, as we keep our own dogs on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you to Manor House for a stay which we know you will find enchanting, relaxing and unforgettable.
